How we work

Three things that shape every plan

One physician, start to finish

You’re not routed through a rotating panel. Doctor Hudson performs the evaluation, builds the plan, and follows it with you over time — which is how she can catch the patterns that only show up across visits.

Lifestyle as medicine. Two specialties, treated together.

Weight, metabolic health, functional movement and the transitions of midlife aren’t separate problems, and here they aren’t treated as separate appointments. Her double board certification is what makes that possible.

Evidence first, then real life

Our solutions are rooted in clear, holistic, evidence-based science — then adapted to your schedule, your household, and what you can actually sustain. A plan you abandon in three weeks isn’t a plan.
Where we practice

Durham, and wherever you are

Our office is in Durham, North Carolina. We also see patients by telemedicine anywhere Doctor Hudson is licensed: Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, and Washington, D.C.

You must be physically located in one of these at the time of your visit. Telehealth visits carry the same attention as in-person appointments — the format changes, the care doesn’t.
